Everything you need to know before you get your glow on.

What should I wear?+

Wear clothes you don't mind getting covered in paint! We recommend dark clothing, old trainers, and tying long hair back. We provide PPE, but splatter happens — that's the fun of it. Neon paint can stain, so leave your favourite outfit at home.

We can not accept any liability for items that are damaged or hit with splattered paint.

How long does a session last?+

Standard sessions are 60 minutes. Our Silent Disco Splatter sessions run for 90 minutes and are available Friday to Sunday. You'll have plenty of time to create your masterpiece!

Please arrive 15 minutes before your session to allow time to get geared up.

Are there age restrictions?+

Splash & Glow is designed for all ages! Children under 12 must be accompanied by a participating adult. We run dedicated kids' sessions and family-friendly time slots, as well as adults-only evening sessions. Check our booking page for session types.

Can I bring my own drinks (BYOB)?+

Yes! BYOB is available for the last session of the evening only. It's completely free — just bring your own drinks. Please note: we operate a Challenge 25 policy, so bring photo ID if you look under 25.

We do not provide cups or glasses; however, a bottle opener and corkscrew are available.

What about photography during sessions?+

We may take photos and videos during sessions for use on our social media and website. If you have any concerns, please let a member of staff know when you arrive. We also encourage guests to take their own photos and videos and tag us when sharing.

Can I change or cancel my booking?+

We don't offer refunds, but you can reschedule your booking to a different date or time. Please contact us at least 24 hours before your session to rearrange. In exceptional circumstances, we may issue a goodwill credit voucher at our discretion.

Do you cater for group bookings?+

Absolutely! We're perfect for hen dos, stag dos, corporate team-building, birthday parties, school trips, and more. For groups of 10 or more, get in touch through our contact page and we'll put together a custom package for you.

Is the venue accessible?+

Our venue at Ocean Terminal is fully accessible, with step-free access, accessible toilets, and lift access. If you have any specific accessibility requirements, please contact us before your visit and we'll do everything we can to accommodate you.

What's included in a session?+

Every session includes your own paint area with a canvas and a fully equipped paint station, giving you everything you need to unleash your creativity. We provide PPE (ponchos and shoe covers), and full suits can be added at an additional cost.

Each session also includes access to paint balloons with darts and a spinning wheel, so you can add extra flair to your artwork.

Where do I park?+

Ocean Terminal has a large car park with plenty of spaces. Free parking is available on site. We're also easily accessible by bus and tram — the tram stops right at Ocean Terminal.

Are there toilets?+

Yes, we have a toilet on site. There are also additional toilets available in the centre. We recommend using the facilities before your session.

How do I take my artwork home?+

We provide boxes so you can safely transport your masterpieces home. Just remember to keep them flat!

Will you store my artwork?+

We encourage guests to take their artwork home after their session. However, we’re happy to store it if needed. To ensure space for other creations, we can only hold items for up to 3 days in the studio. If you need longer, please speak with a member of staff and we will do our best to accommodate.

Can you post my artwork to me?+

Yes, we can carefully package your creation and post it to your chosen address for an additional cost. Please note that shipping costs may vary.

Where is the studio located?+

We are located in Ocean Terminal, Edinburgh. Our unit is on the first floor, on the opposite side of the car park. Just keep going until you see the splatters. You won’t be able to miss us!

Can I bring a spectator?+

Yes, when booking, you have the option to add a spectator pass for £3 to cover the cost of PPE.
